ENSENADA, B.C.- Viernes 11 de Septiembre de 2015.- Como parte de los compromisos de la administración estatal que encabeza el Gobernador del Estado, Francisco Vega de Lamadrid, pescadores de Bahía de los Ángeles comenzarán a tener certeza jurídica en su actividad preponderante, mediante diversas acciones, entre las que destacan la obtención de permisos, lo que representan mayores oportunidades para el desarrollo económico y social de la región.
Al respecto el titular de la Secretaría de Pesca y Acuacultura (SEPESCA), Matías Arjona Rydalch, reconoció el respaldo de la Secretaría de Agricultura, Ganadería, Desarrollo Rural, Pesca y Alimentación (SAGARPA), a través de la Comisión Nacional de Acuacultura y Pesca (CONAPESCA), para liberar permisos a pescadores, acción con la cual ven cumplido un añejo y justo deseo.
Explicó que desde hace varios meses, el Gobierno del Estado ha impulsado el Programa Interinstitucional de Ordenamiento Pesquero y Acuícola, en el que están involucradas SAGARPA, CONAPESCA, el Instituto Nacional de Pesca (INAPESCA), el Gobierno Municipal, la Comisión Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas (CONANP), la Secretaría del Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (SEMARNAT) y los propios productores organizados.
Luego de sostener reuniones con los pescadores, para elaborar un diagnóstico sobre las oportunidades que pueden encontrarse en los recursos de la zona, se comenzaron a promover gestiones para el otorgamiento de permisos, así como para la consolidación de infraestructura estratégica básica y equipamiento para modernización de flota.
“En este año, con una inversión superior a los 3 millones de pesos, el Gobierno del Estado ha generado oportunidades para el desarrollo económico y social de los pescadores de Bahía de los Ángeles, con acciones que fomentan la seguridad en uno de los oficios con más riesgos, promueven el aprovechamiento sustentable de los recursos naturales, además de respaldar a una comunidad con gran arraigo y tradición pesquera y turística”, destacó.
Agregó que con los recursos y el esfuerzo interinstitucional y multidisciplinario, se premia el esfuerzo y se multiplican las oportunidades para los habitantes con acciones como el mismo Programa Interinstitucional de Ordenamiento Pesquero, el Centro de Descompresión Hiperbárica, la modernización total de una rampa de botado pública para pesca comercial y recreativa, el equipamiento y modernización de flota menor.
En la reciente entrega de permisos de pesca comercial, realizada el pasado 10 de septiembre, el Subdelegado de Pesca de la CONAPESCA, Óscar Baylón Grecco, estuvo acompañado por el Director de Pesca del Estado, Víctor Alonso Ibáñez Esquer, en representación de Arjona Rydalch, y el Coordinador de Enlace con el Sector Pesquero de la SEPESCA, Rigoberto Castro Redona.
Al evento asistieron también el Delegado Municipal de la localidad, Fermín Smith, así como Domingo de Jesús Zataráin González, encargado de la Dirección delaÁrea de Protección de Flora y Fauna (APFF) de Islas del Golfo de California de la CONANP.
