TIJUANA, B.C., a 30 de Julio de 2015.- En lo que va del presente año la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública del Estado (SSPE) ha autorizado la operación en la zona costa de la entidad a 19 nuevas empresas de seguridad privada en sus diferentes modalidades.
Lo anterior fue dado a conocer por el titular de la Dirección de Servicios de Seguridad Privada (DSSP) de la SSPE, César Román Díaz López, quien señaló que su área a cargo autoriza y regula la prestación de los servicios de seguridad privada en Baja California.
Díaz López señaló que tras contar con los requisitos establecidos en el Reglamento de Seguridad Privada para el Estado de Baja California, se autorizó la operación a las 19 empresas del rubro.
“En la ciudad de Tijuana autorizamos a 10, mientras que en el puerto de Ensenada operan 4 nuevas empresas, en tanto que en Playas de Rosarito se han autorizado 3 y 2 más en el municipio de Tecate”, desglosó el funcionario estatal.
Las modalidades en las que prestarán sus servicios las nuevas empresas son: Protección y Vigilancia de Lugares Establecidos, Seguridad Electrónica, Traslado y Custodia de Bienes o Valores, Investigación Privada y Vigilancia Interna.
Actualmente en los municipios de Tijuana, Tecate, Playas de Rosarito y Ensenada, operan 143 empresas de seguridad privada, incluyendo las 19 autorizadas, todas ellas reguladas por la SSPE.
Dichas empresas cuentan con un estado de fuerza total de 3 mil 979 elementos, quienes son colaboradores de la seguridad pública en Baja California al contribuir de manera significativa a la prevención e inhibición de delitos.
