PUEBLA PUE.-Por una presión “amable” del subsecretario de Gobernación, Lic. Luis Miranda Nava, el Movimiento Antorchista tuvo que suspender la manifestación de 150 mil de sus miembros que tenía programada para este miércoles 1° de julio del año en curso (escribo esto el martes 30 de junio), a cambio de lo cual sólo se nos prometió una entrevista con el mismo Lic. Miranda para, “ahora sí”, resolver los problemas que hemos venido planteando y discutiendo con el mismo alto funcionario desde hace meses (y algunos desde el inicio de la actual administración federal) y sobre los cuales han recaído acuerdos precisos y puntuales que se han incumplido reiteradamente hasta el día de hoy.

A quien ignore el via crucis de los antorchistas en su lucha por sensibilizar a la SEGOB sobre su problemática (y en esta situación se hallan, por razones obvias, toda la opinión pública y muchos medios de comunicación que se limitan a transcribir los boletines de prensa oficiales) le puede parecer que esta promesa de entrevista, programada “en principio” para el jueves 2 de los corrientes y con “carácter resolutivo”, es un gesto de buena voluntad y un paso significativo para la solución del conflicto cuya expresión más visible es el plantón que desde hace más de tres meses mantenemos (contra toda nuestra voluntad) frente a las oficinas del Lic. Miranda Nava, sin ningún resultado salvo los ataques mediáticos de rigor. Pero, desafortunadamente, ni el contexto en que se da el ofrecimiento ni la más elemental lógica de éste mismo, dejan mucho lugar al optimismo. Doy algunos ejemplos: 1) si en verdad hubiera el deseo y la voluntad de resolver el conflicto, no se entendería por qué no se han cumplido los reiterados acuerdos tomados con anterioridad; 2) si la opinión oficial hubiese variado en positivo en estos días, no sería necesaria una nueva entrevista; bastaría con poner en ejecución los acuerdos ya tomados para desactivar, sin apelación, la manifestación anunciada; 3) si hubiese buena fe a pesar de todo, no se colocaría la entrevista después de la fecha programada para la marcha, sino antes, para así mostrar resultados tangibles y garantizar su suspensión; 4) las entrevistas “resolutivas” han sido el recurso más socorrido en esta ordalía padecida por los antorchistas; pero la mayoría de ellas han sido luego canceladas sine die y con cualquier pretexto. ¿Por qué habría de ser diferente hoy?

En realidad, si no se pierde de vista lo desacreditado del recurso de las entrevistas ni la obvia desconfianza que ha generado en la gente la conducta oficial al respecto, todo parece más bien planeado, a pesar del método “blando” empleado, para obligarnos a suspender nuestra legítima protesta a pesar de que no creamos ni una palabra de lo que se nos promete. Se trataría de un ukase puro y simple que debemos obedecer sin pedir ni recibir nada a cambio, como corresponde a este tipo de órdenes emanadas de un poder autoritario, aunque se trate de una medida de claro corte ilegal y represivo que atenta contra el derecho de manifestación pública consagrado por nuestra ley fundamental. El mensaje cifrado parece ser: no hay solución a las demandas planteadas pero tampoco tolerancia a manifestaciones públicas de desacuerdo o a protestas en contra de esta decisión. ¿Qué sigue después? El “endurecimiento” y la represión abierta mediante el uso “de la ley” y de la fuerza, como lo atestigua la larga experiencia de la lucha popular, en México y en el mundo entero.

En vista de ello, permítaseme otra vez intentar levantar el nivel del análisis, tratar de eludir los lugares comunes de la queja y la “denuncia”, recursos tan manoseados que ya nadie los escucha ni les concede atención alguna. Todos repetimos que la Historia es la maestra de la humanidad; que su olvido o desconocimiento condena a hombres y países a repetir sus errores y a hacer más difícil y doloroso el camino hacia adelante que necesariamente debe recorrer la sociedad. Y, en efecto, la Historia puede enseñar mucho siempre y cuando sepamos leer bien y entender a fondo las lecciones que encierra; siempre y cuando la veamos como un proceso continuo, como algo que se desarrolla y evoluciona sobre su propia base, sin solución de continuidad en su esencia aunque no en su forma (las rupturas formales existen, precisamente, para permitir y garantizar la continuidad de la esencia), regido por leyes inmanentes y objetivas cuya acción el hombre puede retardar o desviar temporalmente, pero nunca cancelar o eliminar definitivamente. Vista así la Historia, es como se puede entender y aceptar que el empleo de la fuerza para someter a países y pueblos, jamás ni en ninguna parte ha producido resultados permanentes, eternos, o al menos de una duración al gusto de los actores y las clases beneficiadas por aventuras imperiales o gobiernos represivos. Muchos imperios aparentemente imbatibles ha visto desfilar la humanidad: el de los asirios y babilonios, el de los persas, el de los hititas, el de Alejandro, el Imperio Romano, el Sacro Imperio Romano Germánico, hasta llegar al intento de Napoleón el Grande. ¿Dónde están ahora esos imperios? ¿Qué se hizo de ellos? Todos fueron barridos por la inexorable escoba del progreso humano; ninguno logró frenar para siempre la imparable ley del desarrollo histórico.

Y esto es verdad, también, hacia el interior de cada país. Tampoco aquí la fuerza armada, la represión brutal, la cárcel y los asesinatos selectivos han logrado evitar para siempre la ruina a una clase dominante que, aunque rica y poderosa, ha sido condenada por la Historia. ¿Dónde están los poderosos esclavistas romanos que derrotaron a Espartaco? ¿Dónde los señores feudales de horca y cuchillo de la Europa medieval, o los poderosos reyes absolutos y sus brillantes cortes, que a muchos parecían eternos y que afianzaban su poder en la absoluta negación de los derechos de sus pueblos? También ellos fueron barridos por la invencible escoba de la Historia. Y no se dirá que les faltaron ejércitos, dineros o tenacidad y valor para defender lo que creían suyo. Vistos más de cerca todos estos ejemplos, se puede advertir que su ruina y su caída fueron la consecuencia fatal del uso indiscriminado de la fuerza, la imposición violenta, el terror y la represión, recursos que nunca han logrado, ni lograrán, crear condiciones en las cuales los hombres sometidos se sientan cómodos, felices o cuando menos tranquilos con su situación. El dominio brutal de unos países o de unos hombres sobre otros, nunca puede generar concordia, paz y solidaridad verdadera entre oprimidos y opresores; ni menos un sentimiento de pertenencia y de orgullo nacional respecto a una patria creada o sometida por la fuerza. Es decir, que siempre faltará en ella el cemento, la argamasa indispensable para mantener unida, en pie y resistiendo todos los embates, a una formación social determinada. Y algo más: mientras más incómodos e inconformes se sientan los oprimidos; mientras más síntomas de esta inconformidad se produzcan en la superficie de la sociedad, más necesario se hará el uso de las armas, de la violencia y de la represión, y más rápidamente esa sociedad se acercará a su final, precisamente gracias a las medidas con que intenta perpetuarse. De esto se deduce que la proliferación de las guerras, la intensificación de una propaganda ideológica desinformadora, mendaz y mercenaria al servicio del poder, el aumento de la represión “legal” (delitos prefabricados y cárcel para inocentes) y de la represión mediante la fuerza pública, no son ni han sido nunca pruebas de fortaleza y de estabilidad de un sistema social, sino, precisamente, de lo contrario, de su debilidad intrínseca y de su irremediable caducidad histórica. ¿Estamos en México acercándonos peligrosamente a esa situación? Espero que no.
