Baja California, 05 de Noviembre del 2015.- El delegado en Baja California de la Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor, Julio Felipe García Muñoz, tomó protesta al Consejo Consultivo de Consumo PROFECO 2015, que tiene como propósito promover la participación activa de la sociedad en la promoción y divulgación de los derechos del consumidor y la educación para el consumo.
El delegado declaró que la Creación del Consejo Consultivo de Consumo de PROFECO 2015, será representada por la sociedad civil, para llevar a cabo una voz más fuerte de la representación social para orientar en temas donde se debe fortalecer la procuraduría y áreas de oportunidades donde se debe trabajar a favor siempre del consumidor.
El Consejo analizará temas en materia de consumo, involucrando activamente a la ciudadanía en un esquema de corresponsabilidad y participación, se realizaran foros de encuentros donde se privilegie el intercambio de ideas entre los actores de las relaciones de consumo. Dicho consejo tomará sesiones solemnes una vez al mes en los distintos municipios del Estado de Baja California.
Detalló que el consejo está conformado por siete miembros como, más el secretario representado por el Dr. Conrado Macfarland Ruiz, Jefe del Departamento de Educación y Divulgación de PROFECO; como consejeros la Lic. Melba Adriana Olvera Rodríguez, Presidenta de la Comisión Estatal de Derechos Humanos en Baja California; Arianna Yanira Guerrero Huerta, Presidenta del Comité de Consumidores de Maclovio Rojas; Alma Teresa Tirado Fausto, Presidenta del Comité de Consumidores de Terrazas del Valle; Agustín Pérez Rivero, Presidente de la Coalición de Colonias Populares AC; Moshe Nahumzon, Presidente del Centro Social Israelita de BC AC; Sergio Moctezuma Martínez López, Presidente Protección de los Derechos del Consumidor AC (PRODECO).
La iniciativa para conformar este Consejo surge de la necesidad que presentan los consumidores en la entidad, el funcionario enfatizó el compromiso de sumarse al diseño de los diferentes programas de esta nueva encomienda en nuestro Estado y nuestra sociedad.
La orden del día consistió primeramente en el pase de lista y verificación del quórum legal, seguido de la toma de protesta a la “Sesión de Instalación de Consejo Consultivo del Consumo del Estado del Estado de Baja California a cargo del Licenciado Rufo Ibarra Batista, Delegado de la Secretaria de Economía en el Estado de Baja California.
