TIJUANA, BC.- Martes 8 de septiembre de 2015.- El Gobernador Francisco Vega de Lamadrid presidió la XVIII Asamblea General Ordinaria de Asociados del Consejo de Desarrollo Económico de Tijuana (CDT), durante la cual reconoció la importancia del trabajo conjunto entre Gobierno e iniciativa privada, a cuyos representantes invitó a seguir trabajando juntos para impulsar la competitividad de Baja California.
Manifestó que el Gobierno del Estado tiene rumbo y para lograr avances ha sido de gran relevancia la participación coordinada de ciudadanía y los tres niveles de gobierno, tal como se establece en el Plan Estatal de Desarrollo 2014-2019, que contempla los proyectos económicos y de infraestructura estratégicos para generar mayores niveles de competitividad, empleos y oportunidades de bienestar para los bajacalifornianos.
Durante el evento, el Jefe del Ejecutivo tomó protesta como nuevos integrantes del CDT a los empresarios Juan Manuel Hernández Niebla y Marcelino Hinojosa Ornelas, al mismo tiempo que felicitó al CDT por ser un ejemplo de participación ciudadana y por el trabajo llevado a cabo para promover la realización de diversas obras que contribuyen al desarrollo económico local.
En el evento, Vega de Lamadrid estuvo acompañado por el Secretario de Desarrollo Económico (SEDECO), Carlo Bonfante Olache; el Secretario de Infraestructura y Desarrollo Urbano del Estado (SIDUE), Manuel Guevara Morales; el Secretario de Turismo del Estado, Óscar Escobedo Carignan; el Presidente Ejecutivo del CDT, Humberto Inzunza Fonseca; el Presidente del Consejo Coordinador Empresarial (CCE), Humberto Jaramillo Rodríguez; el Mayor de Infantería, Daniel Gómez; el Alcalde de Tijuana, Jorge Astiazarán Orcí y el Secretario de Desarrollo Económico de Tijuana, Xavier Peniche Bustamante, entre otros representantes de gobierno e iniciativa privada.
