Con el nuevo modelo de vivienda popular del Presidente de la República, Enrique Peña Nieto, los sectores más desprotegidos del País podrán tener una casa digna; este año se han otorgado 23 mdp a Baja California para apoyar la construcción de casas a familias de grupos nativos
Mexicali, B.C. a 24 de julio del 2015.- Baja California se integra este año a los trabajos de construcción de vivienda básica, con un proyecto inicial de 169 casas en comunidades indígenas, anunció el delegado de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Agrario, Territorial y Urbano (SEDATU), José Lauro Aréstegui Verdugo.
Dijo que a través de un convenio que se firmó en la Capital del País, entre SEDATU, el Fideicomiso Fondo Nacional de Habitaciones Populares (FONHAPO) y la Comisión Nacional para el Desarrollo de los Pueblos Indígenas, (CDI), el Estado tendrá este 2015 una inversión federal de 23 millones 600 mil pesos para apoyar a grupos nativos con una vivienda.
El delegado de SEDATU, indicó que con el nuevo modelo de vivienda popular que puso en marcha el Presidente de la República, Enrique Peña Nieto, los sectores más desprotegidos podrán tener acceso a una casa digna, con características de no menor a 42 metros cuadrados, dos recámaras, cocina, baño, de muros sólidos de ladrillo o block y techos de concreto, que garantice un patrimonio para la población.
Comentó que en este arranque de construcción de viviendas básicas en Baja California, la federación atenderá a comunidades indígenas de Mexicali, Tecate y Ensenada, ubicadas en localidades como Comunidad indígena Cucapah, La Huerta, Santa Catarina, Arroyo de León Tribu Kiliwas, San Antonio Necua y San José de la Zorra
Lauro Aréstegui, precisó que con las Políticas Públicas del Presidente Peña Nieto, SEDATU lleva el compromiso de ofrecer viviendas a las familias más pobres del País, contribuyendo además a un reordenamiento
Territorial y al cuidado del medio ambiente, al dotar estas casas con ecotecnias, según las condiciones del clima de cada región.
El Delegado de SEDATU, agregó que por medio del programa de Vivienda Digna y Vivienda Rural, la dependencia en Baja California, sigue otorgando también apoyos de ampliación y mejoramiento de casas a familias de bajos recursos.
