TIJUANA, B.C.- Lunes 6 de julio de 2015.- El Gobernador del Estado, Francisco Vega de Lamadrid, realizó una visita de cortesía al Cónsul General de Estados Unidos en Tijuana, Andrew S.E. Erickson, a quien agradeció y reconoció la buena disposición de colaboración con las autoridades locales, durante los tres años de gestión (2012-2015), al frente de la representación diplomática, basada en la buena relación y el respeto entre ambos países.
El Mandatario estatal indicó que Baja California siempre tuvo un aliado en los temas de desarrollo económico e infraestructura, así como un impulso decidido a las actividades turísticas y comerciales de beneficio para ambos lados de la frontera. Finalmente le deseó éxito en la próxima encomienda que le sea asignada por el Gobierno de los Estados Unidos, al ser ésta su última semana como titular del Consulado General de los Estados Unidos en Tijuana.
